Hardrace rose jointed rear camber arms are a track-focused upgrade for the BMW F8X and G8X M2, M3 and M4, giving you greater control over rear camber while reducing compliance in the suspension.

As you start to push these cars harder on circuit, accurate control of the rear geometry becomes increasingly important. The adjustable design allows you to set rear camber around your suspension, tyre and driving setup rather than being restricted by the factory adjustment range.

The rose jointed mounting removes much of the compliance associated with a conventional rubber bush, helping the rear suspension maintain its intended geometry under high cornering loads. This gives a more direct and consistent response, particularly when running sticky tyres and higher suspension loads on track.

What it’s good for

These are aimed primarily at track and competition-focused F8X and G8X builds where accurate and repeatable rear geometry is a priority.

The increased adjustment range allows you to properly dial in rear camber to maximise tyre contact through loaded corners, while the rose joint helps prevent the alignment changing dynamically as loads build through the suspension.

They're particularly worthwhile on cars running coilovers, track-focused alignment settings and high-grip tyres where the additional precision becomes much more noticeable.

What we like about it

For a track car, the biggest advantage isn't simply having access to more negative camber. It's having greater control over exactly how much camber you run and keeping that geometry more consistent under load.

Combined with adjustable rear toe arms, these give you much greater freedom to fine-tune the rear axle and build an alignment around how you want the car to behave on circuit.

Worth knowing

These are a motorsport-oriented component, and the rose joints mean there is a trade-off in refinement compared with the factory arms. Expect increased NVH and more frequent inspection than you would with a rubber-bushed component.
