Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 August 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you use slipangle.co.uk (the "Site") or purchase products from Slip Angle LTD ("Slip Angle", "we", "us" or "our").

Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. About Us

The Site is operated by:

Slip Angle LTD

For customer enquiries, please contact:

Email: info@slipangle.co.uk

2. Our Products

We sell automotive components, performance parts, accessories and related products.

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, compatibility information, photographs and prices displayed on our Site are accurate.

Product photographs are illustrative and products may differ slightly in appearance, packaging, finish or other non-material respects. Manufacturers may also revise product specifications or designs from time to time.

If a particular specification, dimension, finish, certification or other characteristic is important to you, please contact us before ordering.

Nothing in this section affects your rights where goods are not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

3. Vehicle Compatibility

You are responsible for checking that a product is suitable for your particular vehicle before ordering, unless we have expressly confirmed compatibility for your specific vehicle.

Vehicle compatibility may vary according to factors including:

  • Model and derivative

  • Production date

  • Engine

  • Transmission

  • Drivetrain

  • Factory options

  • Brake or suspension specification

  • Previous modifications

Where applicable, you should check manufacturer part numbers and specifications before ordering.

If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for your vehicle, please contact us at info@slipangle.co.uk before placing your order.

Where you provide us with specific information about your vehicle and reasonably rely on compatibility advice that we provide, nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have if that advice proves incorrect.

4. Performance and Aftermarket Parts

Many products sold by Slip Angle are aftermarket or performance-oriented components intended to alter a vehicle from its original manufacturer specification.

Such modifications may affect characteristics including:

  • Ride and handling

  • Noise, vibration and harshness

  • Component wear

  • Ground clearance

  • Tyre wear

  • Braking performance

  • Emissions

  • Reliability

  • Manufacturer warranties

  • Road legality

  • Insurance

You are responsible for ensuring that modifications made to your vehicle are suitable for its intended use and comply with applicable laws, regulations and insurance requirements.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the sale of a product does not constitute a representation that the product is legal for every form of road, competition or motorsport use.

5. Installation

Automotive performance components should be installed by a suitably competent person.

Where appropriate, we recommend professional installation by a workshop experienced with aftermarket and performance vehicles.

You are responsible for ensuring that products are installed correctly and in accordance with applicable manufacturer instructions, specifications and torque requirements.

We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, incompatible modifications, failure to follow manufacturer instructions or pre-existing defects or wear in the vehicle.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or affects your statutory rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.

6. Aftermarket Fit and Finish

Aftermarket components may differ from original-equipment components in their construction, finish, tolerances or installation requirements.

Some products may require reasonable adjustment during installation where this is consistent with the manufacturer's intended installation procedure.

However, nothing in these Terms means that a materially defective, incorrectly manufactured or misdescribed product will automatically be regarded as acceptable merely because it is an aftermarket component.

If you believe a product is defective or does not fit as described, please contact us before modifying the product or continuing installation.

7. Orders

When you place an order through our Site, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your order.

An order confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

A contract between you and Slip Angle LTD is formed when we accept your order, normally by confirming dispatch or otherwise expressly confirming acceptance.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order before acceptance, including where:

  • A product is unavailable

  • There is an obvious pricing or description error

  • We are unable to obtain payment authorisation

  • We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse

  • We cannot fulfil the order

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled products.

8. Prices and Payment

Prices displayed on our Site will be shown with the applicable tax treatment for the customer's location where supported by our ecommerce platform.

Any applicable delivery charges will be shown during checkout before you place your order.

We may change prices at any time, but changes will not normally affect an order that we have already accepted.

If a product has been listed at an obviously incorrect price due to an administrative, technical or supplier error, we may contact you to correct the error or cancel the order and provide a refund.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.

Payment services may be provided by third-party payment providers and may be subject to their own terms.

9. Availability, Special Orders and Pre-Orders

Some products may be:

  • Held in stock by us

  • Held by a supplier or distributor

  • Dispatched directly from a supplier

  • Special order

  • Pre-order

  • Manufactured or configured after an order is placed

Stock availability and lead times shown on the Site are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Supplier availability can change without notice. If we discover after you place an order that a product is unavailable or subject to a significant delay, we will contact you as soon as reasonably practicable.

A product being ordered from a supplier specifically for you does not, by itself, remove any statutory cancellation rights you may have.

Different cancellation rules may apply to products genuinely made to your specification or clearly personalised, as explained in our Returns & Refund Policy.

10. Delivery

Delivery times displayed on our Site or provided to you are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise.

Orders containing multiple products may be dispatched separately, including directly from different suppliers or fulfilment partners.

We are not responsible for delays caused by events genuinely outside our reasonable control, but this does not affect any statutory rights you may have in relation to delayed or failed delivery.

Please ensure that the delivery information supplied with your order is complete and accurate.

Further information about delivery is contained in our Shipping Policy.

11. Delivery Damage

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If a parcel or product appears damaged, please photograph the packaging and product and contact us promptly at info@slipangle.co.uk.

Where possible, retain the original packaging while the matter is being investigated.

Failure to photograph or immediately report damage does not automatically remove any statutory rights you may have.

12. International Orders

Orders delivered outside the United Kingdom may be subject to import VAT, customs duties, taxes, brokerage charges or other fees imposed by the destination country.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are not included in the product or delivery price and are the responsibility of the customer.

We do not control charges imposed by customs authorities or delivery providers.

You are responsible for ensuring that products you order can legally be imported into and used in the destination country.

If an international shipment is returned to us because you refuse delivery, fail to pay applicable import charges or provide incorrect delivery information, we may deduct reasonable costs actually incurred by us from any refund where permitted by law.

Nothing in this section affects statutory cancellation or consumer rights that apply to your purchase.

13. Returns and Cancellations

Your rights to cancel an order, return goods or request a refund are explained in our Returns & Refund Policy.

For eligible UK consumer purchases made online, you will generally have 14 days after receiving the goods to notify us that you wish to cancel.

Once you have notified us, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Eligible EU consumers will generally have a corresponding 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.

Certain exceptions apply, including for some products genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

Nothing in these Terms or our Returns & Refund Policy affects your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.

14. Warranty and Faulty Products

Products may be supplied with a manufacturer's warranty.

The scope and duration of manufacturer warranties vary between products and manufacturers. Warranty exclusions may apply to matters such as normal wear, misuse, incorrect installation or use outside the manufacturer's specified operating conditions.

Some manufacturers may also impose restrictions on warranty coverage for competition or motorsport use.

Any manufacturer's warranty is in addition to, and does not replace, your statutory rights against Slip Angle LTD as the retailer.

If you believe a product is faulty, please contact us at info@slipangle.co.uk before returning the product or contacting the manufacturer.

We may reasonably request photographs, videos, diagnostic information or other evidence to help investigate a warranty or product fault.

15. Track and Motorsport Use

Some products sold by Slip Angle are designed for performance, track or motorsport applications.

Motorsport and track driving place substantially greater loads on vehicles and components than normal road use.

Unless expressly stated by the relevant manufacturer, we do not guarantee that a product will be suitable for every form of track, competition or motorsport use.

You are responsible for selecting products appropriate to the intended use of your vehicle, carrying out appropriate inspection and maintenance, and complying with the requirements of any circuit, championship, governing body or organiser.

Manufacturer warranty conditions may differ for products used in motorsport or competition.

Nothing in this section excludes liability for defective goods or otherwise limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Labour, Installation and Associated Costs

Unless required by applicable law or expressly agreed by us in writing, the purchase price of a product does not include installation, removal, vehicle recovery, storage, diagnostic work or other third-party labour.

If you believe a product is faulty, you should contact us as soon as reasonably practicable and, where appropriate, before incurring substantial additional costs.

Nothing in this section excludes or restricts any right to recover losses that you are legally entitled to recover.

17. Our Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

If you use products primarily for business, commercial or professional purposes, different legal rules may apply to your purchase.

18. Website Use

You may use our Site only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or associated systems

  • Introduce malicious software, viruses or other harmful material

  • Use the Site for fraudulent or unlawful purposes

  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Site

  • Scrape, reproduce or commercially exploit substantial parts of the Site without permission

We may suspend or restrict access to the Site where reasonably necessary to protect the Site, our customers or our business.

19. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content created by Slip Angle and displayed on the Site, including our branding, graphics, photographs, written content and original educational material, is owned by or licensed to Slip Angle LTD.

You may view and use Site content for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish or commercially exploit our original content without our prior permission, except where permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks, product names, photographs and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

20. Third-Party Links and Services

Our Site may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.

We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party websites that we do not control.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

21. Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Site is hosted using Shopify and we may use other third-party providers to process payments, fulfil orders and provide associated services.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, products, services or applicable law.

The Terms applicable to your purchase will generally be those in force when the relevant contract is formed.

Any updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

24. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.

25. Governing Law

These Terms and any contract between you and Slip Angle LTD are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you will retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the laws of the country in which you live.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent a consumer from bringing proceedings in a court in which they are entitled to bring proceedings under applicable law.
