Refund policy
Returns & Refund Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
We hope you're happy with your purchase from Slip Angle LTD. If you need to cancel an order, return a product or report a problem, please read the policy below.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
UK and EU Right to Cancel
If you are a consumer purchasing from us online, you will generally have a legal right to change your mind and cancel your purchase without giving a reason.
UK Customers
Under UK consumer law, you generally have 14 days from the day you receive your goods to tell us that you wish to cancel your order.
Once you have notified us of your cancellation, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
EU Customers
If you are a consumer in the European Union and we sell and deliver goods to you, you will generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.
The withdrawal period generally expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.
You do not need to provide a reason for exercising your right of withdrawal.
How to Cancel
To exercise your right to cancel or withdraw, contact us at:
Please include your name, order number and sufficient information for us to identify the order you wish to cancel.
You may also use the model cancellation form at the bottom of this policy, although you are not required to use it.
Your cancellation must be communicated to us before the applicable cancellation period expires.
Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel, please follow the return instructions we provide. Do not send products directly to a manufacturer or supplier unless we instruct you to do so.
Return Condition
You are entitled to inspect and handle an item as you reasonably would if examining it in a shop.
Returned products should, wherever possible, be:
-
Unused and uninstalled
-
Complete with all supplied components, accessories and documentation
-
In their original packaging
-
Free from damage, marks or contamination
-
Accompanied by proof of purchase
You are responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and function.
Where excessive handling has caused a reduction in value, we may make an appropriate deduction from your refund as permitted by law.
Fitted, Installed or Used Parts
Please check that a product is correct and suitable for your vehicle before installation.
Automotive and performance components can become marked, damaged, contaminated or otherwise lose value once fitted, installed or used.
If a returned product has been fitted, installed, modified or used beyond what would reasonably be necessary to inspect it, we may make a deduction from your refund to reflect any reduction in its value.
Depending on the condition of the product and the extent to which its value has been reduced, this deduction may be substantial.
This does not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
Custom and Made-to-Order Products
The statutory right to cancel does not generally apply to goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
This may include products manufactured, configured or modified specifically to a specification requested by you where the product cannot reasonably be resold as a standard item.
Where a product is genuinely made to your specification or personalised, we will normally make this clear before you place your order.
These restrictions do not affect your statutory rights where the product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
Special-Order and Pre-Order Products
Some products may be described as special order, pre-order, or may be ordered from a manufacturer or supplier specifically after you place your order.
These descriptions do not, by themselves, remove your statutory cancellation rights.
Where a special-order product is also genuinely made to your specification or clearly personalised, the cancellation exception described above may apply.
If you are unsure whether a particular product is eligible for cancellation or return, please contact us before ordering.
Return Shipping
For change-of-mind returns and EU right-of-withdrawal returns, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to us, unless we agree otherwise.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and appropriately insured delivery service. You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods and returning them in accordance with the instructions we provide.
We cannot accept responsibility for returned goods that are lost or damaged in transit where you have arranged the return.
If the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us before arranging a return.
Where you have a statutory right to return goods because they do not conform to the contract, we will bear reasonable return costs where required by law.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
Please inspect your order when it arrives.
If an item is damaged in transit, incorrect, faulty or not as described, contact us as soon as possible at:
Please include your order number, a description of the issue and photographs or other supporting information where appropriate.
If there is visible damage to the parcel when it arrives, please photograph the packaging before opening it where reasonably possible.
For UK consumers, your statutory rights include a 30-day short-term right to reject goods that do not conform to the contract, subject to the applicable provisions of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
After this period, you may have rights to a repair or replacement and, in certain circumstances, a refund or price reduction.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.
Incorrectly Ordered Parts and Vehicle Compatibility
It is your responsibility to ensure that a product is suitable for your vehicle before ordering, unless we have expressly confirmed compatibility for your specific vehicle.
Vehicle models can vary by production date, engine, drivetrain, specification, optional equipment and previous modifications.
Product photographs may also be illustrative, and you should refer to the product description, specifications and applicable part numbers when determining compatibility.
If you are unsure whether a product will fit your vehicle, please contact us before placing your order.
Where we have supplied the product you ordered but you subsequently discover that it is unsuitable for your vehicle, this will normally be treated as a change-of-mind return and the standard return provisions in this policy will apply.
This does not affect your rights where we have supplied an incorrect product or where you reasonably relied upon specific compatibility information or advice provided by us.
Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible at:
Where possible, we will stop the order before dispatch and issue the appropriate refund.
If the order has already been dispatched, you may need to receive and return it in accordance with the returns process set out in this policy.
Different rules may apply to products that have already entered production and are genuinely made to your specification or personalised.
Exchanges
The simplest way to exchange an item is normally to return the original product in accordance with this policy and place a new order for the replacement product.
If you need help selecting the correct replacement product, contact us at info@slipangle.co.uk.
Refunds
Once we receive your return, we will inspect it and process any refund due.
Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel an online order, we will refund the price paid for the returned goods and, where required by law, the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.
If you selected a more expensive delivery method, such as express or next-day delivery, we are not required to refund the additional cost above our standard delivery charge.
For returned goods, refunds will generally be made within 14 days of receiving the goods back or receiving evidence that you have returned them, whichever is earlier, subject to applicable law.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless otherwise agreed.
Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may take additional time to make the funds available after we have issued the refund.
Where permitted by law, we may make a deduction from your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods caused by handling beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect them.
Manufacturer Warranties
Some products may be covered by a manufacturer's warranty.
Manufacturer warranties are provided in addition to your statutory rights and do not replace or restrict the rights you have against Slip Angle LTD as the retailer.
If you experience a problem with a product, please contact us at info@slipangle.co.uk before contacting or returning the product directly to the manufacturer.
We may request photographs, videos, diagnostic information or other reasonable evidence to help us assess the issue or liaise with the manufacturer.
