E82/E82 1 Series Hardrace Rear Toe Arms

Hardrace adjustable rear toe arms give you greater control over the rear geometry of the BMW E82 and E87 1 Series, with a choice of uprated rubber bushes or rose jointed ends depending on how track-focused the car is.

Rear toe has a significant influence on how the car behaves on circuit, particularly under braking, through high-speed corners and on corner exit. These arms provide a greater range of adjustment than the factory setup, allowing you to accurately set rear toe around your suspension, ride height and intended use. This item comes as a pair.

What it’s good for

A great upgrade for E82 and E87 1 Series being built for fast road and track use, particularly once changes to ride height and rear camber start to move the geometry away from the factory setup.

The additional adjustment allows you to properly dial in rear toe rather than simply working within the limits of the standard arms. For track cars, this gives you more freedom to tune the balance between rear stability and rotation while maintaining a consistent alignment.

Rubber or rose jointed?

Uprated rubber is the better option for dual-purpose road and track cars. You get the additional toe adjustment while retaining some compliance in the suspension, keeping noise and vibration closer to the factory setup.

Rose jointed is our choice for a more track-focused build. The solid joint reduces compliance and helps prevent the rear toe changing dynamically as the suspension is loaded through hard cornering, braking and acceleration. The result is a more precise and consistent rear axle, with the trade-off of increased NVH and more regular inspection.

What we like about it

Toe is one of the most important alignment settings when it comes to how stable and predictable a car feels on track, and these arms give you much greater control over it.

For a dedicated track build, we'd lean towards the rose jointed version. Combined with adjustable camber arms, you have considerably more freedom to set up the rear axle around the tyres, suspension and handling balance you're looking for.
