Description
BC Racing ZX Series coilovers are a 3-way adjustable suspension system developed specifically for track and competition use. Separate low-speed compression, high-speed compression and rebound adjustment provides extensive control over damper behaviour, with 20 clicks of low-speed compression, 12 clicks of high-speed compression and 30 clicks of rebound. External reservoirs increase fluid capacity, while high viscosity-index racing damper fluid helps maintain consistent performance during sustained hard use.

What it’s good for
Ideal for dedicated track cars, race cars, time attack and other competition applications where suspension setup and consistency are priorities. The 3-way damping adjustment allows the chassis to be tuned around different circuits, tyres, spring rates and conditions, while the upright damper configuration can provide additional flexibility around mounting arrangements depending on the application.

What we like about it
The ZX gives you a huge amount of control over how the car behaves. Low-speed compression can be used to manage body movement and weight transfer under braking, acceleration and cornering, while high-speed compression can be tuned separately for kerbs, bumps and sharper suspension inputs. Combined with independent rebound adjustment, it allows the damper to control the car effectively without having to rely on excessively stiff spring rates.

Worth knowing: The ZX is firmly aimed at dedicated track and competition use. Three-way adjustment gives enormous setup potential, but it also requires a methodical approach to get the best from it. If you don't intend to spend time testing and adjusting the car, much of what you're paying for with a damper at this level will go unused.
